Taylor Motors, Inc., a transportation company, has signed on as the Gold Sponsor of the 2017 Murray Half Marathon.

“Taylor Motors and our employees are honored to sponsor the 2017 Murray Half Marathon,” said Peggy Taylor, president.

Taylor Motors is sponsoring 101 race entries for the soldiers in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell. The 101st Airborne Division provides our Nation an unmatched expeditionary Air Assault capability to conduct forcible entry and other worldwide unified land operations in support of combatant commanders.

This year marks the seventh annual Murray Half Marathon, which is organized by the Murray Calloway Endowment for Healthcare at Murray-Calloway County Hospital, and raises funds to support the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House. The facility offers end-of-life care in a home-like setting to area residents in partnership with MCCH’s existing Hospice unit.

The 2017 Murray Half Marathon is scheduled for April 22, 2017 and will begin in front of the hospital on Poplar Street. This year the course will include running past the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House. In addition to the 13.1 mile course, a 5K and Half Marathon Relay are also available.
