Murray-Calloway County Hospital offers several schedules for employment
Regularly scheduled to work 30-40 hours per week. May participate in all benefits.
Regularly scheduled to work at least 16 hours per week. Some benefits are available; will accrue paid time off on a pro-rated basis.
May be offered in some departments.
Medical insurance is available for full-time employees. Employees are eligible the first of the month following the completion of thirty days of employment. Single, single + child, single + spouse, and family coverage is available. Premiums can be payroll deducted as pre-tax dollars. Includes pharmacy.
Dental insurance is available for full-time and part-time employees. Employees are eligible the first of the month following the completion of thirty days of employment. Single, single + child, single + spouse, and family coverage is available. Premiums can be payroll deducted as pre-tax dollars.
Vision insurance is available for full-time and part-time employees. Employees are eligible the first of the month following the completion of thirty days of employment. Single, single + child, single + spouse, and family coverage is available. Premiums can be payroll deducted as pre-tax dollars.
Life insurance valued at two times the employee’s annual salary is provided for full-time employees at no cost. Full-time employees are eligible after the completion of thirty days of employment. Additional life insurance may be purchased for employee, spouse, and dependents at group rates with monthly premiums paid by payroll deduction.
Short and Long Term Disability is available for full-time and part-time employees. You become eligible for insurance after the completion of your conditional period. Benefits up to 70% of employee’s income available as a pre-tax deduction.
A Medical Spending Account is available for full-time and part-time employees. Employees are eligible after the completion of thirty days of employment. These are pre-tax dollars that are to be used for non-covered medical, dental, vision and hearing expenses for you and your family including your deductibles and co-payments, as well as dependent care.
The Center for Health & Wellness is available to full-time and part-time employees beginning immediately. Full-time and part-time employees and their family members receive a discount for use of the Wellness Center and services after the employee completes their conditional period.
The retirement plan is available for full-time and part-time employees after 30 days of service. The hospital contributes 2% with vesting occurring after 5 years of full-time and part-time service. Employee contribution up to 6%. Hospital matches up to 3%.
A Christmas Club is offered to all employees immediately after beginning work. The Christmas Club is payroll deducted and administered by the Murray State University Credit Union.
The cafeteria discount is available to all employees immediately after beginning work. Employees receive a discount on meals purchased in the hospital cafeteria while on duty and with employee badge.
Educational assistance is offered to full-time and part-time employees after the completion of their conditional period. Tuition Reimbursement of up to 100% is available for courses in a healthcare field or job related enhancement.
Continuing education courses are encouraged for all employees. Programs should be approved by the KY Board of Nursing and provide continuing education credits free to our staff.
Murray-Calloway County Hospital offers a Paid Time Off bank that includes vacation, holidays, personal and sick days. Accrual begins immediately and is based on status and actual hours worked per pay period.
