Nearly 100 golfers and several sponsors helped raise approximately $26,500 for the Enduring Home Campaign, at the seventh annual Murray Calloway Endowment for Healthcare Golf Classic Friday, September 28, 2018 at Miller Golf Course.

The tournament, sponsored by David Taylor Chrysler, had teams playing in a scramble format, teeing off at either a morning or afternoon session. At the end of the day, it was the Pinnacle Inc.’s (Dennis Smith, Preston English, Becky English and Craig Schwettman) team who took home the top prize award of $500 with a score of 52. Lunch was catered and donated by Sirloin Stockade for all of the golfers in the tournament!

Other cash prize winners included: sixth place, BB&T; 13th place, Team George; 20th place, McConnell Insurance; last place, HFR team; more than $1700 in prize money was awarded.

The Enduring Hope campaign has been launched to raise money for a new $12 million Regional Cancer Center which will bring the oncologists, social workers, pharmacy, and infusion area under one roof. The centerpiece of the new Regional Cancer Center’s equipment will be a state-of-the-art linear accelerator that can deliver stereotactic radiation therapy.
