LOCAL WOMAN DONATES HYGIENE KITS FOR CANCER PATIENTS

Sherry Tolley, of Murray recently collected hygiene kits for donation to Oncology and Hematology of Murray. Tolley used social media to encourage friends across the country to purchase hygiene kits for donation to local cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.  The kits include items with all natural ingredients such as aluminum free deodorant, alcohol free mouthwash, fluoride free toothpaste, and body soap.

Notes from donors can be found inside the kits that were made in memory or in honor of other cancer patients across the nation. Two local donors designated one of the kits specifically for their mother-in-law. Tolley was able to deliver the kit while the recipient was on the MCCH campus.
