MCCH Hosts Western Kentucky Pediatric Care Symposium

MURRAY, KY –Murray Calloway County Hospital will host the Western Kentucky Pediatric Care Symposium on Friday, June 6, 2025. The symposium will take place from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm at the Graves County Cooperative Extension Office in Mayfield, KY.

REGISTRATION IS FROM 8 am – 8:30 am.

The event will feature the following speakers:

  • Abby Bailey, MPA, NR Paramedic – Pediatric pandemic network, Norton Children’s Hub Manager
  • Melissa, Currie, MD, FAAP – Child Abuse Pediatrician, Norton Children’s Pediatric Protection Specialist
  • Jacquelyn Gilbert, MD,  – pediatrician, MCCH, 7 years – attended medical school at UK and residency at Cincinnati Children’s
  • Deeyar Jubran, MD – ENT, MCCH – attended medical school at Mayo Clinic and UT for residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery
  • Jackie Milo, MD – pediatrician, MCCH, 13 years – graduate of St. George University School of Medicine, residency at State University of New York upstate Medical University in Syracuse
  • Karen Orman, MD, FAAP – Medical Director, Pediatric Critical Care Transport team, Norton Children’s Hospital, PICU physician and associate professor of pediatrics at
    University of Louisville
  • Kristen Riley, APRN – Pediatric neurology with Norton Children’s Medical Group in Paducah
  • Morgan Scaggs, BHS, NRP – Health Program Administrator, KY EMS for Children
  • Anne Wagner, MD,FACS – Burn Director, Vanderbilt Burn Center, Board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care

Continuing education units (CEU’s) will be determined at a later date.
