MURRAY, KY –Abigail Akers, MD, has recently joined the team of physicians and providers at Women’s Health of Murray.

A 2020 graduate of Kent State University where she graduated summa cum laude and with honors in Integrated Life Sciences, Dr. Akers completed her medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

She is married to Nicholas Akers and their family is relocating to Murray. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs, being outdoors, gardening, and painting.
