MURRAY, KY – Murray-Calloway County Hospital recently held a retirement tea honoring Marty Pace, Business Office Employee. Marty was a loyal employee devoting 45 years of her career to MCCH.

Marty says the hospital has been a second family for her and she has enjoyed her time in all of the various positions she has held. She has worked throughout the hospital as the switchboard operator, cashier, patient account manager, medical records, and the last several years she has spent in the business office.

“All of the changes were mind boggling at times over the years… we went from typewriters when I began, to computers, but it was always fun. The growth of the hospital and number of buildings was also one of the biggest changes,” said Marty Pace.

Marty said she is looking forward to being able to just do nothing if she feels like it, and wants to catch up on things around the house and spend more time with her granddaughter, Casey.

“I’m sad to leave because it was a big part of me but I’m going to enjoy it the best way I know how,” said Marty Pace.
