Aquatics

Enjoy the aquatics programs at the Wellness Center as part of your membership. We offer swimming opportunities for all skill levels and all ages.  From water aerobics classes to lap swimming to swim lessons – find the right program for you and your family!

Make a Splash Swim School

Swim lessons for all ages under the direction of Coach Janna Tobergte. Requires pre-registration and enrollment fee.

Pure Energy

A high-energy water aerobics class with resistance training exercises for the upper body, lower body, and core. Exercises in both shallow water and deep water are designed to improve strength and endurance. Ages 14+

Aqua Fit

Aqua Fit provides an excellent low-impact workout to individuals of all abilities and ages. Aqua Fit exercises are designed to relieve stress on the joints while improving flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. Ages 14+  (14-16 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Competitive Youth Swim Team

The Murray Youth Swim Team (MYST) offers a year round competitive swim team at the Wellness Center with high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities (not included in membership, email coach.sara.myst@gmail.com for information).

Private Swim Instruction

Experience one-on-one swim instruction with Coach Janna Tobergte. Purchase 5, 10, or 15 training sessions and get incremental discounts. Call 270-762-1348 for prices and reservations.

Customize your wellness experience with a diverse mix of classes, programs and opportunities. From relaxing yoga to the high-octane BodyPump, you’ll find the perfect class to fit your preferences, schedule and fitness goals.

Classes

  • Children are not allowed in the gym during adult classes.
  • Participants may enter the gym and set up class equipment no earlier than 15 minutes prior to class time.
  • Class schedules are subject to change every 4-8 weeks.
  • Please adhere to our age boundaries for the class.

Body Pump

The original barbell workout for absolutely everyone. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns calories, increases core strength, and improves bone health. Ages 16+

Boot Camp Class

A 6-week program that incorporates cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and mobility. Learn a variety of exercises and workouts to help you build strength and improve your fitness. Please call us at 270-762-1348 for more information on upcoming Boot Camp sessions.

Cardio Toning

Integrates aerobic fitness, strength training with dumbbells, and high intensity intervals (HIIT) to improve your cardiovascular fitness and endurance. Ages 16+

Chair Yoga

An accessible practice designed to help you enjoy the benefits of yoga with the support of a chair. You will learn a variety of breathing techniques and yoga postures to help you improve mobility, balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Ages 14+

Core Essentials

A challenging and dynamic class that strengthens the core muscles, including the abs, hips, and lower back. The main focus is to help you develop a strong and stable core, improve posture, and increase overall fitness. Ages 16+

Simply Yoga

A gentle yoga class designed for beginners. You will learn basic yoga postures with an emphasis on breathing and proper alignment. Ages 14+

The Spin Cycle

A fun and motivating 45-minute indoor cycling workout designed to build cardiovascular endurance and strength through interval training.  Ages 16+

Strength

A challenging strength training class that incorporates barbell, dumbbell, and bodyweight exercises. Develop better balance, coordination, and power in this full-body workout. Ages 16+

Yoga

Designed to strengthen, stretch, and relax your entire body while calming your mind. With an emphasis on breath, you will learn traditional yoga postures, alignment, and modifications. All levels welcome. Ages 14+

Zumba

Takes the “work” out of workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Ages 12+

Kid Zone

Hours

Morning Hours:
Monday – Friday:  7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Saturday:  8 a.m. – Noon
Evening Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Babysitting service while you work out

The Kids Zone area is provided for our member’s children, age’s 6 weeks to 9
years of age. Children that are included on the family membership receive Kid Zone
services free of charge.

  • Members must provide diapers, wipes and other essential items.  In an
    emergency a diaper will be provided free for the first time then a $.50 charge will
    be collected thereafter
  • If the child needs to be fed a bottle during the time he/she is visiting it should be
    pre-mixed and ready to eat.
  • Parents are urged to bring a snack for their child to eat or drink (we will not
    provide snacks or drinks for children).  Everything must be labeled with the
    child’s first and last name
  • Members with children in the Kids Zone must be on the premises at all times
    during the child’s stay – NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • The member must be the legal guardian, parent, or primary caregiver of the child
    in the Kids Zone
  • In order to reduce the chances of exposing other children to illnesses, no sick
    children will be accepted.  If your child appears to be ill in any way after being left
    in the Kids Zone, the staff will notify you
  • If your child cries uncontrollably and cannot be comforted, we will notify you right
    away
  • Parents will also be asked to come to the Kids Zone if their child’s behavior
    disrupts others (we will not allow hitting, biting, or spitting). “Time out” will be
    used as a means of discipline until the parent arrives
  • We reserve the right to refuse admittance to children who do not obey the rules
    or may endanger the safety of the other children in the Kids Zone
  • The parent who signs the child in must sign the child out unless prior notice has
    been given to the Kids Zone Staff
  • For children not included on the family membership, there is a $2.50 fee per
    child, per hour
  • Information cards are required prior to your child’s first visit. Please advise the
    staff if your child has any special needs
